Installing Windows XP onto a single SATA drive on an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe Motherboard

Installing Windows XP on any machine with a SCSI or RAID card can be quite daunting. Normally, when you boot from the CD, you wait for the blue screen, hit F6 when the option to do so comes up at the bottom, and then wait to select your driver from a floppy disk that you prepared earlier. But what if you don't have a floppy disk drive (most modern PCs don't), or what if, like in my case, the driver refuses to install from the floppy disk?? Well the answer seems to be that you create a slipstreamed operating system CD, containing your SCSI/RAID drivers. This thread covers it very nicely indeed for the Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard (it helped me out of a jam), specifically post 14. That post also points you to The Elder Geek's website, which I've referenced myself in the past as an excellent IT resource, but the pages referenced have been useful to me in the past when creating SP1 and SP2 slipstreamed CDs.
